Install Sesame on Windows

Sept étapes, environ cinq minutes. Il faut Windows 10 ou 11 (64 bits). Aucun mot de passe administrateur n'est demandé.

Seven steps, about five minutes. You need Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). No administrator password is needed.

1. Téléchargez SesameCliquez sur le bouton bleu ci-dessus. Si Edge affiche « Sesame-Setup.exe n'est pas fréquemment téléchargé », cliquez sur les trois points … à côté, puis Conserver, puis Afficher plus et Conserver quand même.
2. Download SesameClick the blue button above. If Edge says “Sesame-Setup.exe isn't commonly downloaded”, click the three dots … next to it, then Keep, then Show more and Keep anyway.
3. Ouvrez le fichierDouble-cliquez sur Sesame-Setup.exe dans le dossier Téléchargements.
4. Open the fileDouble-click Sesame-Setup.exe in your Downloads folder.
5. « Windows a protégé votre ordinateur » : c'est normalUne fenêtre bleue s'affiche. Cliquez sur Informations complémentaires (le petit lien sous le texte), puis sur le bouton Exécuter quand même. C'est à faire une seule fois : les mises à jour, elles, s'installent sans cet avertissement.
6. “Windows protected your PC”: this is normalA blue window appears. Click More info (the small link under the text), then the Run anyway button. You only do this once: updates install without this warning.
7. InstallezChoisissez la langue, puis Suivant et Installer. Laissez la case « Lancer Sesame » cochée et cliquez sur Terminer.
8. InstallChoose the language, then Next and Install. Leave “Launch Sesame” checked and click Finish.
9. La fenêtre de Sesame s'ouvre dans votre navigateurGardez-la ouverte autant que vous voulez : la fermer n'arrête pas Sesame. Une petite icône Sesame apparaît aussi en bas à droite, près de l'horloge. Si vous ne la voyez pas, cliquez sur la petite flèche ^ près de l'horloge, puis glissez l'icône dans la barre des tâches pour la garder visible.
10. The Sesame window opens in your browserKeep it open as long as you like: closing it does not stop Sesame. A small Sesame icon also appears at the bottom right, near the clock. If you don't see it, click the small ^ arrow near the clock, then drag the icon onto the taskbar to keep it visible.
11. Ajoutez votre premier compteBouton Ajouter mon premier compte, puis OneDrive par exemple : connectez-vous dans le navigateur. Choisissez où mettre vos fichiers et quels dossiers copier, puis Commencer la synchronisation. Rien n'est téléchargé avant ce bouton.
12. Add your first accountClick Add my first account, then OneDrive for example: sign in in the browser. Choose where to keep your files and which folders to copy, then Start syncing. Nothing is downloaded before that button.
13. Facultatif : démarrer avec WindowsRubrique Réglages, puis Lancer au démarrage.
14. Optional: start with WindowsOpen Settings, then Launch at login.

Pourquoi cet avertissement ?

Why this warning?

Windows affiche « Windows a protégé votre ordinateur » pour tout logiciel dont l'auteur ne paie pas un certificat à Microsoft ou à un revendeur. Sesame est gratuit et ne le paie pas. Cela ne veut pas dire que Sesame est dangereux : chaque mise à jour est signée avec la clé de Sesame et vérifiée par l'app avant d'être installée.

Windows shows “Windows protected your PC” for any software whose author does not pay Microsoft or a reseller for a certificate. Sesame is free and does not pay for one. This does not mean Sesame is dangerous: every update is signed with Sesame's key and checked by the app before it is installed.

Les mises à jour

Updates

Quand une nouvelle version est prête, un bandeau bleu « Nouvelle version disponible » s'affiche en haut de la fenêtre, et la même ligne apparaît tout en haut du menu de l'icône. Un clic montre les nouveautés et le bouton Mettre à jour maintenant : Sesame se ferme, s'installe et repart tout seul. Vos comptes et vos réglages sont conservés.

When a new version is ready, a blue “New version available” banner appears at the top of the window, and the same line appears at the very top of the icon menu. One click shows what's new and the Update Now button: Sesame closes, installs and starts again on its own. Your accounts and settings are kept.

Désinstaller

Uninstall

Menu Démarrer › Paramètres › Applications › Applications installées, puis les trois points à côté de Sesame › Désinstaller. Vos fichiers synchronisés restent dans leurs dossiers.

Start menu › Settings › Apps › Installed apps, then the three dots next to Sesame › Uninstall. Your synced files stay in their folders.

Version Windows toute neuve : si quelque chose cloche, dites-le-moi (rubrique « Nous écrire » de Sesame).

Brand-new Windows version: if anything goes wrong, tell me (“Write to us” in Sesame).
